[pinit]Annnnd, we are back! I feel likes it’s been forever since I posted about a Disney Resort, but I guess it’s only been about a week. đ Well, I learned something after visiting Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club…and that is I don’t have nearly as many Disney resorts to visit as I had originally thought! Which, I gotta tell you… did make me a wee bit sad. Because, basically although Disney lists 31 Resorts on their website, what I found out was that several of them are combined on one property. So, if you visit one, you have the opportunity to visit 2 or 3 at a time. Now, don’t get me wrong, this makes it awesome for the guests of the resorts, because they have the opportunity to experience 3 resorts for the price of 1! But, for my agenda.. I do wonder what Eli and I are going to do for fun once we wrap this adventure up.. Hmmm. It will be tough to compete with so much awesomeness! However, I am certain that something amazing is waiting for us.. đ But, in the meantime, I will carry on with the Yacht and Beach Club. đ I originally thought we were just visiting the Beach Club.. but then we found the Yacht Club. And, then we saw the Beach Club Villas.  That’s when the light came on… Ohhhh, I see.. We are knocking out 3 in 1 today! But, I gotta tell ya… Disney does everything 1st class, if you haven’t figured that out already. The Stormalong Bay Pool at these resorts is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! I mean.. seriously, the largest pool I have ever been to. And, not to mention that, they have tons of little hidden coves throughout, with mini pools, Jacuzzis and even sandy beaches within in the pool! Crazy cool I tell you! You’ll want to put this resort on the must visit list! On top of gorgeous grounds with lush landscape, you’ll find the whole property is wrapped around Crescent Lake. And, across the lake is Disney’s boardwalk, which you’ll find a whole array of shops and restaurants. Also, if you’ve been following our Summer Fun Series, you’ll know that Eli looooves boats, so of course we had to jump on the Friendship Boat that launched to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And, if you are feeling really ambitious when you stay here and decide 3 resorts is not enough to satisfy your exploration itch, then take the boat over to the Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort. Wowzers! You will not be disappointed! In fact, we may just make a special trip back there tomorrow. đ Now, let’s talk dining and recreation at the Yacht and Beach Club Resort. You will find 8 places to eat! One place I’m sure you’ll be visiting daily is the Beach & Cream Soda Shop!! This is located at the pool area and looked absolutely delicious! All right now.. prepare yourself for the next part. Scallywags 4 to 12 years of age can set sail on a pirate adventure cruise, following clues to discover hidden treasure… I’m sorry, but how cool is that?!?! Now, of course there is an extra fee for this, but I would say it’s totally worth it! And, if you caught my post about the Polynesian Village Resort, you’ll remember me mentioning the supervised Children’s activity center where you can drop your kids off for $15/person while you and your honey go out on a date! Well, guess what.. this resort has the Sandcastle Club! So, go ahead and make reservations for 2, because this is a deal you won’t want to pass up! And, if you’re wondering.. food is included in that $15 price.. shucks, try finding a babysitter for that! Ha! Anyway, let’s move onto the awesomeness for the kiddos.. you’ll definitely want to make your way over to the nightly complimentary Campfires where you get to roast marshmallows!! And, if that isn’t enough, stick around for the Movie Under the Stars, where you get to watch a Disney film on the moonlit beach!! Man oh man.. so much fun! Now, don’t think I’m done yet.. you still have motorized boat rentals, guided bass fishing excursions, bike rentals, tennis, volleyball, jogging, a playground and an arcade! Wow! If you’re not booking your Disney Vacation at the Yacht and Beach Club Resort yet, I’m sure you will be after checking out the pics below! Enjoy.. and be sure to check back to see where our next adventure takes us! Oh btw, I totally got carried away taking Eli’s pictures this time, but I have included them in an addition gallery down below.. I think you’ll enjoy those as well. đ
