Do you know what’s in vaccines?
[pinit]As a preface, this post is not Anti-Vaccine, nor is it Pro-Vaccine. The purpose of this post is to simply help educate parents before they make the decision to vaccinate or not to vaccinate, as either decision has potential consequences. With that being said... here we go! ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ I've always been a label reader. And, I really stepped up my melancholic game once I became pregnant with Eli. Once he started eating solid foods, my "detail-itis" went into overdrive. I … [Read more...]
Boiled or Baked? Healthy Food for Toddlers
[pinit]I used to know how to cook. And, then I met my husband. Soon after that, I discovered he is a master chef and could put any restaurant out of business with his amazing culinary skills. So, after a couple years of indulging in the amazing meals he prepared, I conveniently forgot how to cook. Seriously...forgot how to cook. A Different Child
I find myself in a predicament. My son just turned one on June 5th. Up until last Friday, he had a completely gluten and dairy free diet. That was until my lovely (and sometimes rebellious) husband thought it would be cool to buy a mac and cheese food pouch for our son. He had convinced himself that it was okay because it said organic. I was tired of looking at the nasty food pouch in … [Read more...]

The title to this post gives you a little bit of info on what it's about, but I figured, hey why not give you all a snippet of what's to come! So here you go... :) "Is it just me, or is it every time you turn around, someone is saying that he or she or some close relative or friend has ADD, Allergies, Autism, Alzheimers, Cancer, Diabetes, or some other form of chronic disease? This is becoming very disturbing. Are these all … [Read more...]
Books That Have Changed My Life!
[pinit]I have always been an avid reader. I can still remember going to the Library as a kid and checking out a dozen books at a time. This was probably one of my favorite activities. And, as I got older, I remember kids who liked the library were called nerds. This however never bothered me, as I just loved reading so much and I thought the library was cool! Thankfully the love for learning continued into adulthood. But, instead of reading children’s books, I transitioned into self-help books. One thing I always knew was that I had A LOT of work to do in the … [Read more...]
