WAR ROOM | THE POWER OF PRAYER
Hey hey!! Have you seen the movie, the War Room? My sister sent it to me for my birthday. And, let me tell you.. what an awesome gift! I had heard about the movie when it was in the theaters, but didn’t know too much about it. My husband and I actually don’t really like going out to the movies, so didn’t even consider going to see it. Strange right? There are several reasons, but one I would say is the comfort factor. It’s waaaay more comfortable to watch a movie on your own couch in your pjs, then to sit upright, surrounded by a bunch of strangers. Perhaps that’s why we are going to build a home theater in one of our houses. 😉
Well, on to the movie. This is must see. Scratch that. War Room is a must own. You will want to re-watch this movie through the years and remind yourself and others of the power of prayer. In this movie, you’ll find a couple, Tony and Elizabeth who are struggling in their marriage, simple because they are trying to do it on their own. They are on the brink of divorce, when Elizabeth has a divine appointment with Miss Clara.
Miss Clara is a prayer warrior, who lives in victory and knows the power in the name of Jesus. She is a faith-filled woman who prioritizes time spent with the Lord. And, it is evident in her everyday life.
When Miss Clara meets Elizabeth, she is able to instill in her all that she has learned through the years. And, when she does, Elizabeth and Tony’s life takes a life altering, dramatic turn for the good. Not only is their relationship impacted, but their eyes are opened to the strain they’ve put on their daughter. Repentance is made, wills are surrendered and relationships are restored. What a beautiful picture of what happens when people honor the Lord with their mind, will and emotions.
Needless to say, I am definitely recommending the War Room to all! And, not only that, I would looove to hear from everyone who has seen it. Do you have a “War Room”? (Or what we like to call, a “Prayer Room”) Maybe you created one after watching the movie?
Please comment and tell me about it! Or better yet, email me pics of your War Room (or Prayer Room ;))! I have set up a temporary space, but am looking for ideas to do when we move. 😉

This movie was a huge turning point for me! I wish I had the space for my war room. Right now I just have a desk in the corner of my dining room. 🙂

Hi Daundra! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂 I hear ya.. me too! I have definitely stepped up my game in the prayer department.. and Wow! I have seen some pretty immediate changes in the lives of the people I’ve been praying for! So awesome!! And, the cool thing is you can just work with what you have.. I’m sure God understands. 😉 I created a little space in our current home, but so far have stuck with the couch in my living room, because logistically it works better. 🙂 Ttys!
